Ok... check you've made all the necessary changes to page_header.php, functions.php... Also check you uploaded the necessary language files to the correct place.

Hope that helps Smile

OK, i test this with the aktuell Language Files (German, English) but the Problem is allready Exist.
What must i Change in the Funktions.php?

Quote:

page_header.php

'U_CALENDAR' => append_sid('calendar.'.$phpEx),

I Changed all Files to the new Files but the Problem is the same.

The phpBB_mod_files.txt file has ALL the necessary files and edits required to make everything work..

Ok this Changes ar done but the Problem is the same! Confused

Link to Calendar:

<a href="{U_CALENDAR_MOD}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subBlack3d/images/kalender.gif" border="0"></a>

Is this korrekt?

The Link "<a href="{U_CALENDAR_MOD}" class="mainmenu">{L_CALENDAR_MOD}</a>" wonīt work.
Is doesnīt show in the index.php.

Quote:

page_header.php

'L_CALENDAR_MOD' => $lang['Calendar'],

'U_CALENDAR_MOD' => append_sid('calendar.'.$phpEx),

Quote:

funktions.php

if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);

Ok, part of the problem is that you're using the subBlack3d template which is different from SubSilver... Search on this forum for that forum and you should be able to find some tips on how to make it work.

Quote:

funktions.php

if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);

You have put the last part of the code on the wrong side of a bracket...

DOUBLE CHECK all the editing very carefully and you will find that you have put the code just slightly in the wrong place.

Under SubSilver is the same Problem!
wrong side of a bracket??
I changed simply "lang_admin" in "lang_calendar"

Quote:

if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);
}

At the Update show this Error:

Quote:
Upgrade to version:'1.2.2n' report.
If you already updated your Calendar table to ver: 1.0.6 or later then this is normal
Error Report: Duplicate column name 'user_id'

Adding BBCode_ID column to calendar table has failed : This is a critical update and needs attention
Error Report: Duplicate column name 'bbcode_uid'

That will break it more as you found!

I'd recommend getting a clean version of functions.php and starting again... Paying VERY careful attention to the instructions and especially how many brackets come before you put in the new code.

Sorry I can't help more will do in a couple of days.

Ok... Now I'm back home here's the info that should help explain what went wrong.

Calendar_Mod_files.txt extract
Quote:
#
#-----[ OPEN includes/functions.php]------------------------------------------
#

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#

if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.' . $phpEx);
}

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#

//
// MOD Load Calendar Language File
//
if ( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);

// End MOD

The bit that seems to trip everyone up is the bracket } marked in red. It seems most people just don't see it and instead of getting...

Quote:
(CORRECT)
if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.' . $phpEx);
}
//
// MOD Load Calendar Language File
//
if ( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);

// End MOD

... they end up with this...
Quote:
(WRONG)

if ( defined('IN_ADMIN') )
{
if( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_admin.' . $phpEx);
//
// MOD Load Calendar Language File
//
if ( !file_exists($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.'.$phpEx) )
{
$board_config['default_lang'] = 'english';
}

include($phpbb_root_path . 'language/lang_' . $board_config['default_lang'] . '/lang_calendar.' . $phpEx);

// End MOD
}

The incorrect code means that lang_calendar.php is only ever loaded when you are in the administration panel.

NB: look for the red bracket in those examples to see what the code should look like.
